Historic Committee

Our Historic Committee puts on our annual Historic Homes Tour with the help of many volunteers. This committee has also worked on gaining community support for several National Register of Historic Places districts as mitigation for impacts of I-4 expansion to our community. Our application for 3 non-regulatory National Register of Historic Places districts is pending now with the State of Florida Historic Preservation Board and, if approved, would be official listed with the US Park Service in late Spring/early Summer 2007. Dedicated members of this committee have also researched and archived other aspects of College Park history and stage displays of historical information within College Park.
